Farmer's Attic

Welcome to Aether's farmer's market!Farmer's Attic is a co-op where crafters, gatherers, and customers can meet for casual farmer's market RP and tax-free commerce on Sunday mornings. Each vendor is responsible for bringing their own merchandise and setting their prices — all profits go back to the vendor, with no house fees taken. Low-level crafters and gatherers are welcome and are in fact encouraged to drop by and sell their wares!While the premise of the venue is commerce, it is a community oriented space that aims to foster camaraderie between disciples of the land and hand. So bring your best farmer's market outfit and get ready to barter at Aether's own locally sourced marketplace.

The VenueNestled in the scenic outskirts of Foundation's residential district, Farmer's Attic is a renovated warehouse left over from the Firmament restoration project. It continues to serve Ishgard's crafters as a social hub, workshop, makerspace, and marketplace thanks to the patronage of Orestes Attica, who funded the building's renovation, and the members of the co-op who make it a welcoming community.

Bio:
Raised in East Thanalan's Golden Bazaar, the son of caravanserai canteeners, Ruckus has returned to his humble roots of food stall hawking after a few years adventuring across Aldenard and beyond. A 'cultural preservationist' of the Thanalanian trading hamlet's bygone days, he's bringing back the local specialties of the Old Allagan Sunway route that were popular in his youth. Recently, this has included 'resurrecting' small-batch spirits fermented and distilled from nopales cactus pads and millioncorn under the Lichyard Libations™ label. Sometimes, he may have select goblin cheeses to peddle on the side.

Hailing from a long line of pullers, Ganzfrynn grew up in Southern Bloodshore, fishing alongside his father. He always dreamed of greater things and more exciting locales, and was excited to leave home and become an adventurer with his best friend. Now that he has set the life of an adventurer behind him, he has decided to return his roots and embrace the simple life he never realized he loved.

As an extraterrestrial mechanization, there are few things that Hanako knows about this star. While she presently does not understand social mannerisms and lacks many forms of common sense, Hanako aims to fulfill her prioritization both personal and given by her creators as she journeys to discover how to become more humanoid and learn more about the citizens of this star. After being offered employment for sampling culinary dishes and produce, Hanako found that the Farmer's Attic aligned with multiple tasks she currently has - and while void of emotion to express it, is keenly anticipating the opportunities to be found as an assisting staff member.

Bee Boranehn Artisan ResidencyWe are offering an exciting new opportunity for crafters who have made WAY TOO MUCH of one item and are looking for ways to offload it! We will pay you ZERO GIL but we WILL make you a cute little stall at the farmer's market, buy a lot of your stuff if we think it's funny, and help support you in future crafting endeavors. This residency is named after Bee Boranehn, one of our artists-in-residence. Watch her story below!
